You know, I used to think being a state senator would be a lot of fun. After listening to 10 hours of it, though… maybe not. The Gourmet Beer Bill did not come up for a vote today. Maybe a week from Monday.

Dan, see your earlier comments re: alvin holmes pontificating about what’s wrong with Budweiser, etc. the beer wholesalers own the black caucus, including larry langford the soon to be jailbird mayor of bham. Just ask John Rogers and Rudy Davidson.
It will not come up again, if it does, it is only as a ‘whipping boy’. How apropos, considering the nature of the opposition!

I strongly disagree, Mr. Publius. Well, I’m not 100% positive it’ll be on the next SO calendar, but we have the votes of people from both sides of the political persuasion.

Yeah sometimes I want to claw my eyes out or beat my head up against a wall when listening to them. Usually though I just cuss a blue streak at the computer. I plan to run again and want to be elected to the House….but I sometimes question whether or not I have the temperament for it. My B.S. tolerance may not be up to such a prolonged and vicious assault.
