Who is David Maker?
If you’re running for Congress and you want me to vote for you, I need to know a little bit about you. So far I’ve seen one poorly done speech from Maker at Flashpoint. There’s a vague notion that he is a physicist involved in anti-gravity research. He apparently works for Raytheon in Huntsville, which is a top national research firm.
I know it’s hard for political newcomers to break in to the scene, and I find that unfortunate, but it is what it is. Parker Griffith has a voting record and a couple years of political grandstanding — we know where he is on the political map. If it’s your first run, you have to make an effort. I’ve tried to call and get Maker to tell me a bit about himself, but to no avail.

He was on Dale and was very nervous apparently. Dale gave him 30 secs to say ehy we should vote for him and he stammered until Dale rescued him .

Maker has filled out the candidate questionnaire that I sent out last week. Watch for the responses to be posted this weekend. That will clarify a few platform areas. If memory serves me, he works for Photon Research Associates, not Raytheon.

Doesn’t Raytheon own Photon Research Associates? Technicality, but still…

A quick Google search: http://www.photon.com/

Are those the same guys who invented the tactical antimatter weapons known as Photon torpedos and used by the Klingons on their Raptor-class scout ships, as well as their Birds-of-Prey?

I saw him on the debate last week.It seems to me that if you are running for congress and you are going to be on television you might want to run an iron over your shirt.
